Primary Care Physician Opportunity at CFB Halifax

Calian is proud to partner with the Department of National Defence to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team of civilian health care professionals at CFB Halifax, one of Canada’s largest military bases.

Whether full-time or part-time, your work will include primary care, occupational health, trauma management, and disease prevention—directly supporting the health and readiness of military personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care and refer to other providers as needed.
• Deliver occupational health services, including fitness for duty assessments, rehabilitation, and assignment of Medical Employment Limitations.
• Maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record system.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
• CCFP certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
• Basic Life Support certification
• Eligible for Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
