Creating Impactful Maps: Mapping with Tableau and ArcGIS for One Person One Record

Presenters:

• Moiz Ahmed – Moiz is a Systems Analyst working for the Project Tools Team, He started at OPOR as a Co-Op Student in May 2022 and joined the team full time after graduation in May 2023. Moiz holds a master’s degree in computer science from St Francis Xavier University with a focus on Automation using Python or Power Automate and working with GIS (Geographical Information Systems) such as ArcGIS and Mapbox.
• Yara Yan - Yara is an enthusiastic map builder and data visualization designer. Currently working as a student analyst on the Project Tools Team, she is pursuing a Post-baccalaureate Diploma in Business Analytics at Cape Breton University. Yara is skilled in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, R, MySQL, and Python, and holds certifications in Data Visualization in Tableau, Analyzing Data in Tableau, and Intermediate Python. 
• Jahnavi Gajjala – Currently a Student Analyst for the Project Tools Team at OPOR; She specializes in data visualization and analysis, especially in Creating visualizations with Tableau, showcasing healthcare data across Nova Scotia. She is Master of Applied Computer Science candidate at Dalhousie University her Skills include being Proficient in Tableau, Python, SQL, R, Excel; and excels in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
